Abstract

This article talks about the constant violence in which the state of Chihuahua lives, this is why the most important representative examples of the city are used, such as the monument to the fallen police, the nail cross and the plaque to Marisela Escobedo; which were built at different times and are located in the downtown area of Chihuahua, in this way they have become the representation of the voice of hundreds of victims. The differences between each of them and the way in which citizens express their pain are addressed. When reviewing the samples of expression we can observe how they evolve with the objective of making violence visible.
