El travestismo a través de Camila Sosa Villada y su novela Las malas

Abstract

In this article we study the phenomenon of transvestism based on the idea that gender is a social construction and we observe the link between this gender expression and the monstrous. We address the analysis of the transvestite conception based on the figure of Sosa Villada as an author and her novel Las Malas (2019). At the same time, within the work we analyze the differences between the construction of the transvestism of Camila's character in her childhood and adolescence and, in her adulthood.
