In the present work, we will analyze the invention of an imaginary of a nation in which Argentina is a white-European country, in the cinema actualities in the years around the Centennial (1910). We understand that the construction of a national identity with these characteristics was promulgated from spaces of power, and non-fiction cinema was presented as a tool that, from its actualitites and newsreels, could forge said imaginary.
