Las políticas públicas culturales para la danza en el siglo XX. Tensiones entre los primeros gobiernos peronistas y la década de 1990

Abstract

The 1990s, in which the neoliberal project was consolidated in Argentina, can be considered as a hinge in terms of the transformation of the Cultural Public Policies that will begin to be thought from the Management and State Management, at the same time that a subject of political right, client or consumer to whom the proposals of state intervention are directed, is constituted. We wonder what tensions we can raise in relation to the Peronist past that, during the 1940s and 1950s, proposed a cultural project of professionalization of academic dances and a strong democratization in the access to these disciplines. This paper proposes a reflection on the transformations that have, about the end of the twentieth century in Argentina, the Cultural Public Policies and, in that sense, the relationship that from the dance sector is established with the State.
