Abstract

This work intends to analyse the concepts of text and discourse in El sueño del celta of Mario Vargas Llosa. The novel, which relates the difficult conditions of life and existence of African natives, the American indigenes and the Ireland’s, is situated in different scenarios which forms crusted between biography, memory y historic novel. The history presents the anticolonial and postcolonial discourse replanting the relation between Civilisation and Barbarise. Then, this work will study the desterritorialized and multiple space, the generic mixing and the discursive heterogeneity whom the author examines the universal human condition.
