Abstract

The narratives are complex stories that pass through the personal experience of those who speak them, responding to the contexts they inhabit and the sources that feed the meanings given to those experiences. This paper seeks to identify those narratives in areas suffering from social exclusion conditions, seeking the roots that nourish, the ways that are articulated and shared collectively. The corpus of analysis was taken from the “community film production workshop” in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. The finding is that these exclusion spaces construct narratives from cultural consumption that are near of them, mainly illegal copies of big-budget Hollywood movies, which are mixed with socialization processes of their immediate surroundings.
