Abstract

In North Mexico, one of the main sources of work, are the factories (maquiladoras) because of their proximity to the border with the U.S. A significant percentage of women are the ones who do this sort of job. This is why this essay pretends to study and analyze the phenomenon of the maquilas and workers exploitation, connection salary-work, damages or benefits to health, and other factors. By the data arranged here, it’s expected to raise awareness about women’s labor rights.
